For general cottage inquiries, please select the "I am Interested" button located within each listing. This will direct you to the "Contact Information Form" where you can enter cottages and dates that may be of interest to you. Each cottage listing has an availability calendar located at the bottom of each page, along with an "All Property" availability calendar option.

If you have already corresponded with us, and are ready to book, please click on the "Reserve Now" button, located at the top of each listing. This will automatically pull up the "Rental Request Form", please choose one of the three options that applies and click "Submit". You can then complete the "Reservation Request Form". Be sure to fill in your information including your address, contact number(s), email address, credit card and etc. Once completed, select "Submit".

For deposits, we bill 1/2 the cost of the rental to your credit card, and the remaining balance is billed directly to your card the day of your arrival. Pet fees, if applicable, are also charged the day of your arrival. We accept Visa, MasterCard or Discover.

Once we complete your reservation we can either email, fax or mail your confirmation/rental agreement.

Sample Rental Agreement


When determining which home you are interested in, please keep in mind the maximum policy for each listing:

No more than the number of persons that the home will sleep are allowed on the property at any time, as well as the number of cars, per our contracts with the Homeowner. This is at all times in the home or on the property at any time, not just for sleeping. Local government organizations and homeowners associations are very strict about these policies.

All of the homes we represent are individually owned. Maximum number of persons and cars is determined by the Homeowner.

The maximum numbers allowed for each cottage is posted within each individual cottage listing.


We accept Cash, Check or Charge. We require a credit card and a 50% deposit on all rentals to confirm your reservation; Visa, MasterCard or Discover.


Deposits are returned only if we are able to re-book your reservation. If the reservation is not re-booked the full amount will be charged on the scheduled arrival date.


Depending on the individual properties, and the time of year, our price structure changes. During our Peak-Season (June-August) we rent weekly only; our cottages are either Friday-to-Friday, Saturday-to-Saturday or Sunday-to-Sunday. You can find this information within each individual cottage listing.

Off-Season rental dates and prices vary depending on the individual properties and availability. Generally, weekends and holidays are premium, therefore priced slightly higher than mid-week. Each home we represent has a required minimum stay, either 2 or 3 nights.

Off-Season is beautiful in Harbor Country and perfect for weekends or mid-week escapes!


Check-in is 4PM EST, Check-Out is 10AM EST during Peak-Season (June-August). Off-Season (Sept-May) Check-in & Check-out times vary.

We email our check-in procedures, along with other helpful information and local area links, a few days prior to your arrival date. If you do not hear from us a few days prior, please call to make arrangements for your check-in.

We will make special arrangements for late arrivals. Remember we are one hour ahead of Chicago Time, so please plan accordingly.


The amenities provided are as varied as the properties we provide. Details are posted within each individual cottage listing.

Here are some basics one can expect: TV, DVD, stereo or sound system, microwave, grill, standard coffee maker, toaster, kitchenware, pots & pans, dishes, utensils, glassware and etc.

We provide you with a "Bluefish Starter Kit"; one reusable shopping bag, two rolls of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, two garbage bags and some basic cleaning supplies.

Linens such as sheets and towels are provided based on the number of beds.

We do not supply items such as dish soap/detergent, laundry soap, aluminum foil, fire wood, charcoal and etc… These items tend to accumulate over time, so it may be best to do a quick inventory of the home, and shop for sundries once you have arrive.

Please bring beach related items such as beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella and coolers.

Some of our cottages provide landline phones with local calling access. Long distance calls are prohibited, and blocked on most phones provided. Renters are responsible for any long distance charges incurred during their stay, additional fees apply for any unauthorized long distance calls, please contact our office for more details.

Smoking is not allowed indoors at any of our properties. Be sure to dispose of any and all cigarette debris before your departure, and please be thoughtful of the natural surroundings. Keep in mind that our natural environment, at times, can be dry and very easily flammable.

Pets are not allowed in some of the properties. When searching our inventory for pet friendly cottages, select "Pet Friendly" and hit "Search". Each cottage may have their own requirements for pets, such as one large dog or two small dogs, size limitations, breed and etc. Please contact our office for cottage specific information.

Pets should be monitored at all times, inside and outside the property.
